A good book is an event in my life.
I read and review fiction and non-fiction books, albeit I read more of the former in a year. Below I’ve linked to the various categories my reviews are divided into. I love to read books that pose questions, take me on an adventure or present puzzles (either via characterisation or plot) to solve. In recent years I’ve taught myself to abandon books; for many years I thought of this as sacrilege, but Mark Manson pointed out there’s only so much time I can spend reading so why waste it on things that can’t retain my attention (ad libbed, but that’s my take away).
I also review over here on Goodreads, often but not always at the same time as on Offprint.
